On the 26th of april, Scott with help from his friends at VP racing sponsered the Jenolan Amsag Rally. Scott and VP put up prizes for the first three 4wd's which included race oil, stickers,caps and Insight motorsports money.
1st prize was -$200 of Insight money to spend on any of our services or products, 8ltrs of VP Racing oil, 2 Insight caps, 2 Insight stickers and 2 VP Racing stickers. Winner of 1st SCOTT KUHNER/FRANK NEALE.
2nd prize was - $100 of Insight money, 8ltrs of VP Racing oil, 2 Insight caps, 2 Insight stickers and 2 VP Racing sickers. Winner of 2nd - JOHN JOYNER/CHRIS WARWICK.
3rd prize was - $100 of Insight money, 8ltrs of VP Racing oil, 2 Insight caps, 2 Insight stickers and 2 VP Racing sickers. Winner of 3rd - TRISTAN OPIE/G MURRAY.
SCOTT GAVE HIS PRIZE TO CAR 13 ARRON MORRISON/ ROSS STUART WHO ROLLED THEIR CAR IN THE RALLY AND WAS TAKEN AWAY IN A AMBULANCE BUT ENDED UP BEING OK.
Scotts started the rally off on the wrong foot. STAGE 1 was a special stage and you had to do two laps. Scott misunderstood the instuctions and thought he had to do a 1 lap dash twice, so Scott stopped back at control after his first lap. This lost him some time. STAGE 2 The EVO was down on power. Back at service they found a blown off intercooler pipe. With some help from Goldy,s crew Scott was back on the road. STAGE 3 some kangaroos thought they would slow the EVO down. STAGE 4 no problems at all. Goldy gave Scott some coaching on how to drive a 4WD in the damp conditions which Scott is still learning. After this point, Scott settled in and enjoyed the rest of the rally. Into the night and the EVO was even seen with glowing brakes. Scott finish first in his class and second outright, behind Brad Goldsbrough.

After purchasing the Rallyequip EVO 5 from Frank Neale, Scott needed to get a feel for the car. With Frank navigating, Scott and Frank entered the Hills District Rallysprint at Jenolan on the 6th of April.
Scott came in first and loves his new toy.

After his win at the Jenolan Rallysprint he entered the NNDC Oberon Rally. He was lucky to get in with his late entry. Thats when his luck ran out,he got lucky number 13 and on the first day,in the second stage 200 metres from the end, the crank angle senser failed and left Scott and Frank stranded leaving them with the best spectator spot in the rally. Thats rally for you.
Now released! The Insight motorsports electronic boost controler. It features colour screen with digital and analog boost gauge display, 3 boost settings, user preset output which can switch a water sprayer system, warning light or buzzer and target boost.
